“The only way I can prove my love [to God] is by scattering flowers and these flowers are every little sacrifice, every glance and word, and the doing of the least actions for love.”

— St. Thérèse of Lisieux

Little Flowers Girls’ Club of Alexandria Virginia is a Catholic, virtue-based program for girls and their mothers, inspired by the 1906 Catholic classic The Catholic Girls’ Guide by Fr. F.X. Lasance and the spirituality of St. Thérèse, the Little Flower of Lisieux. For more than 30 years, Little Flowers has helped girls grow in holiness through prayer, Scripture, the lives of the saints, crafts, games, and fellowship while building lasting friendships with other Catholic families.

Through Little Flowers, we seek to help girls:

  • Grow in understanding and practicing Catholic virtues

  • Become familiar with the lives of the saints

  • Develop friendships with other Catholic girls

  • Recognize that holiness is possible in everyday life
